I was once told, 'people with dyslexia, once they truly get it, it's like they've mastered it' (Cheryl Payne Gordon Franks Training). That gave me a new perspective.

A very useful tool I use is the Dyslexia Friendly Screens, over books a red film helps but on the computer a green film worked best.

Click here for a Chrome Dyslexic Friendly Extension option, there are a few out there to explore.

After experiencing chronic headaches during the day for over a week at the beginning of BCH Bootcamp, I realised looking at the screen and words for hours - nothing was sinking in easily as I know it should, then I remembered I had tools that I should revisit using.

The task here is to over come and absorb information to get to the end result and achieve and aim to achieve High standards of workmanship.

The way I am loving coding life, Im understanding my pattern of work. Turn up, recap, read notes, apply, ask for help, edit 4x, green film over screen, rest, and enjoy the pressure, it will soon be mastered!

Andragogy in process...

One thing I know is to always seek advice and wise council. So last night I called on my younger cousin, she's a professional studier, I call her. She's studying to be a Pathologist. In calling her to converse about studying styles, my take away' was, ...it is ok to skim straight through allot of reading and come back to start again. You will find new things you didn't see and realise what you did take in, then continue to build on it. Love it - New perspective because I can often find myself stuck in the same place trying understand the sentence, however my skim reading game is much better. I honestly thought I needed to be stuck until I understood. Gonna give it a whirl.
